Howdy Greg. I've been wearing them for years and have no complaints. When one pair starts getting kind of ratty looking, they get relegated to "yard shoes" duty and I buy a new pair.

I do this same thing with my shoes. I don’t buy new balance though.

There’s a running store down there somewhere that will measure your gait and how you walk and then tell you which brands match your feet the best.

Howdy V8! I'm not a runner, and I'm not one to spend a lot on shoes. I thought about checking out that "Good Feet Store" for inserts, but then found out that the inserts cost about 4x what one pair of my shoes cost!
