Have been waiting on Operation Flashpoint 2 for a while now, and it is really good! It's not even on the same page as Call of Duty..they are just different game types. This is not a run around and spray and pray type game like CoD.

the PC gamers can downlaod it via Steam for $40.

I have OFP2 on preorder for the XBox360. Meanwhile, I'm playing a lot of ArmA 2 on the PC. I also have Modern Warfare 2 on preorder.

How dare you speak ill of COD!!!:D

(Modern Warfare II comes out November 10th . . . for the nephews, yeah, the nephews).;)

lol, nah, I love CoD actually, and I can't wait for MW2 to come out. It's just that CoD and OF2 are not even in the same arena. OF2 is more..well, realistic. Not so arcadeish.

Well like I said COD4 is just a bunch of people, runing around spraying and praying. The maps are tiny, but I still play it. OFP, is more like real combat. No runing around like a crack head. the graphics are also better in my opinion. Also the maps are biger, good for sniping positions. I may buy COD4 2 later, but not anytime soon.

Well, I finally sat down to play OFP2. Wow! Better than the first and really well done. My only gripe is that due to the expansive game world and lack of ironsight ability, the M16A2 is pretty much useless until you get the Designated Marksman rifle. Couldn't hit crap with the standard issue until I was in range to get my arse handed to me by the Chinese. Used arty quite a bit!

BTW: The map is HUGE! I like the premise: war over oil! Now THAT'S RELATABLE! :D

Oh! Nice touch: Enemy positions on the map are LAST KNOWN positions, not real time! Awesome!
