You can carry a gun on your person while INSIDE YOUR CAR ON SCHOOL PROPERTY if you are taking/picking up your son/daughter to/from school or a school function. Do not leave the car with the gun. Do not park on school property and leave the gun in the car. You must (as determined by case law) stay in the car with the gun while you drop off or wait for your child.

As you've probably noticed by now, that is incorrect. Please don't spread things that you're not sure on.

your son/daughter to/from school or a school function.

Just to note, IC doesn't specify that it has to be your son/daughter, just "a person".
