    Used to be the 1500 should have been called the Indianapolis AR-15 show as there were many dealers selling everything from basic parts to complete rifles to all kinds of accessories. Would guess that unless this latest "crisis" has depleted the supply, the 1500 should be a good place to find virtually any part your heart desires.

    Now when it comes to prices, who knows. Good luck.

    If they make it it's going to be there. Price may be higher like jd4320t said but it should be there. (may be a little hard to find 30rd mags now though.

    So, would it be better to just wait and order parts online instead of over paying?

    i would suggest going and finding what you want online and getting the price that your ok with and then going to the show and haggle with vendors. usually vendors will be more apt to throwing out deals later in the afternoon than in the morning, but then you run the risk of not finding what you want. its a give and take.

    I expect it will be shoulder to shoulder in there.
    Yes, it will be for sure. We like to refer to it as *********s and elbows. Made even more difficult by the narrow isles.

    Since I got my AR before the tragedy, I'll be looking for a 1911.

    <shhh>

    I would suggest everyone else just stay home :D

    What kind of lowers do you and your b-i-l have? Actually I am looking for a complete lower minus the stock unless it is an A2. I have a .450 Bushmaster upper that I had planned on using on a Bushmaster Patrolman, but every time I mention about going shooting my wife pitches a fit to go and shoot "her" AR15. I also have an A2 stock a buddy of mine gave me when he put a folding stock on his AR. I wind up sharing my toy with her. Did that sound right? :):

    Think I can find a trade?

    I am thinking about going to see the choas and look for a trade.

    I will offer up a stripped lower and some loaded pmags and hope to get a complete 5.56 upper..

    What do you think?

    i am predicting that prices will be elevated as sellers will be attempting to make more of a profit off the current crisis/high demand of all things black guns. hopefully not to outrageous but who knows at this point

    That would be a nice trade on your side. I bought a lower online last week for $119.

    I feel that the last couple of years the dealers have raised their prices quite a bit and I rarely spend my money there. I usually go to look and then hop online to save money on my purchase.

    I wish I felt I was getting a better deal at the show.
