I can't believe that Obama would do something this unpopular, but it's scary that it's even being discussed:

This one's been floating around for a couple of years now. I remember it being addressed during Bush's regime in "In Fisherman" magazine. Obama's stupid, but he isn't that stupid. This one will likely die down again in a while, just like it has in the past.

How in the world would this be enforced? Who is going to arrest an old man and his grandchild for crappie fishing?

What would the penalty be for illegal sport fishing? (actually, ignoring an Executive Order issued by the POTUS)

Would fishing to feed yourself or others be exempt?

Something is just not right with this whole story....

What would the penalty be for illegal sport fishing? (actually, ignoring an Executive Order issued by the POTUS) Well, this is a serious offence. You are disobeying a direct order from the President. I would say $5-25k fine, 6mo to 5 years prison. Also, what are the penalties for poaching anything? I don't know every detail but it's VERY serious.

Seriously? Is robbing a bank exempt because you're poor?

Something is just not right with this whole story....
