It's like pointing out the emporer has no clothes or when you call out a "minority" for being a racist, the pro-gays want to hush you up or discredit you by implying that you are in "fact" gay or in denial. That's like saying someone who calls an alcoholic out for being a drunk is in fact an alcoholic themselves. It makes no sense and is nothing but an emotional response and tactic to shut up or quiet those who would call out pro-gay supporters.

For those of us who still hold true to wholesome, traditional family values, we see a daily assault on our way of life. In today's America, if you value the traditional family style, you are labeled a bigot and closed minded. If you see the gay movement as disgusting, unclean and a fast lane to the break down of society you are marginalized as not being "with it" or "hip", even the military is starting to persecute its members for speaking out about their disgust with the gay movement on base. Bobo the Clown has stacked the Joint Chiefs of Staff with "yes men" who bow and scrape to his every whim. Gone are the days when senior military leadership would stand up to a Commander in Chief, Kenyan in Chief in our case today, and let him know what is actually up inside the military.

Instead, we are expected to turn against our upbringings. We are expected to turn against what we feel in our guts. We are expected to just embrace whatever garbage M-TV, VH1, the MSM, Hollywood or 0bama wants to push on us.

Our children are being indoctrinated in schools, through tv shows aimed solely at them and through the Internet by sites such as Facebook, MySpace or any other popular media out there today. Who knows what will come tomorrow....

I still teach my kids like I was taught. Homosexuality is NOT normal, it is NOT acceptable no matter who tries to convince you otherwise and it is NOT something that they should be talked into experimenting with by "friends".

Remember, you build a school. You are never remembered as John the school builder.

They weren't forced to kiss as the headline in the OP implies, which is why i posted a comment about the girls not being forced to kiss. Had the girls been forced to kiss, then this event would have been a little more repugnant, right? I also said that the event was ridiculous and ineffective, that kinda puts us on the same side of this issue. Therefore, you can redirect the outrage.

And, no, talking to the teacher or principal, going before the board is not stopping it.

Parents have no legal control over the government schools. The only way one can really control his child's education is to provide it himself, either by the parent in the home or through the use of a proxy he pays for our of his own pocket.

Educational welfare is exactly like all the other welfare programs.

"My kid's school isn't like that." Yet.

"I wouldn't tolerate X behavior. I'd be in the principal's office post haste." Meanwhile, the damage has been done.

"I teach my children right from wrong at home." Because 40 hours a week of teacher and peer interaction can be completely erased.

I completely agree with you! I had some issues with a teacher at my kids school that was teaching nothing but 0bama. Not facts mind you, but glorifying his name like a Sunday sermon!

As a parent, you have to be in constant comms with the teachers and school principal just to let them know you won't stand for crap like this if nothing else.

When they know parents are watching, crap like this tends to not last long or even come up.

Also, why aren't they pushing this stuff in inner city schools? Why do you always hear of it in more affluent schools or, public schools in more affluent areas?
