Right now i know i get 90 miles for every 1/4 tank of gas on the intrepid or 360 miles on a full tank.
Don't think that is the case with this jeep.

Jeep Liberty is going to give you less fuel economy than a Dodge Intrepid. But measuring distance by the gas gauge makes it hard to compare things. The Liberty has a 19.5 gallon gas tank. I suspect that your Intrepid holds maybe 15 or 16 gallons. So the Liberty, with a larger tank and less fuel economy may drive the same 90 miles on a 1/4 tank, but it will cost more to burn a 1/4 tank of gas in the Liberty because you are using more gas.

Is it a 2wd or a 4wd version? The 4wd version will get about 1 less MPG than the 2wd version.

I've owned a half dozen Jeeps, not including my antique Jeepster. Good vehicles, not so good fuel economy. I can't speak to the Liberty or other smaller models, but in 4wd the Jeeps are very capable vehicles in the snow, sand, dirt and fields.

Yes the same stuff i would like to carry.
My sis told me 2004 but the info she sent days 2009.
    I confirmed it was 2009.
    Intrepid has 18g tank.
    2wd i believe.

That is what I'm not to happy about the gas consumption.
Right now i travel just 20 miles a day to,from train and that is all.
    I don't need anything fancy,

RAV4's are also really nice. We have an '02 with 85K miles on it that I bought new. When I got the Jeep in 2010 I gave the RAV to my mom.

Solid reliability on the rav 4 as well.

I'm looking at an expedition for the family. It's going to be my wife's so it will probably get a few hundred miles on it per month, so the atrocious fuel economy doesn't bug me that much.

If the fella accepts my absurd lowball offer I should have it tomorrow.

If you click on the overview it gives you mileage. 94k. Should still have plenty of life in it. I'd offer about 800 less though.

Yeah thats still low miles. I have a 2006 Chevy equinox with about 125,000 on it, still going strong. But the body is starting to show some rust.

My wife wants something big like that to. (That's sounds funny but you know what I mean.)
She looked at a Nissan armada that was a couple years old. I thought they were asking to much $ for it plus it had a lot of little scratches and dings on it.

I looked at those as well but happened to come across this expy by happenstance. I firmly believe in the car purchase negotiation tactic of my dad, which is to look up the value of the car and make an offer way lower, based on nothing factual other than a desire to save money. That and always being willing to walk away. There's always another deal out there.
