Well to NTB jedi goes as those tires were bought AND aligned in JAN 2014.
    Thanks
    That won't help you.

You do realize that hitting a curb, a pothole, etc can throw off the alignment???

So if the job was done in January, that was during pothole season! NTB is going to say it is your fault (or your wife's fault). Further they will say it is your responsibility to notice uneven tread wear! And they will be correct.

Honestly this is simple neglect, or, in computer terms, user error.

    Not the fault of NTB.

And the reason I say that NTB is going to say its your fault is because to wear a tire so unevenly as to show the belting it would take MONTHS of driving with non-aligned tires. You should have seen the tread wear showing uneven wear in the early spring and done something about back then.

Its a lot harder to see uneven tread wear on the inside of the tire, but this is on the outside where it is obvious.

If he bought road hazard it'll be covered

Road Hazard typically is for punctures, side bulges, etc, not for driving around with unaligned tires.

Thanks for the bad news melensdad.
Jedis fault or not the car needs a fixing so off to do that tomorrow.
Ctc 4,000 miles is what the tires have on them.

Hum... if no replacement for diss...
Might well go somewhere else to get new tires and alignment.

I hope NTB honors something regarding a warranty but I suspect they will give you a very hard time.
