-17°F yesterday (-29°F windchill). -22°F today (-36°F windchill) in NW Iowa. Ice has formed on the inside of windows. Brrrr

Happy dog gone cold New Year. Almost makes you want to go to Dairy Queen for a large blizzard.

Not me.... heck I'm on no food diet again. Not sure if it's illness or the cold weather but all I've been doing since last night early is pushing insulin. Finally down to 177 but no food till she hits 120 and 2 units is only taking it down 25 points at best... Guessing it is a little of both the weather and left over from the migraine thing...

Haven't checked if PB is open today or not... but if they are it will probably be lined up out the door again. Might just wait till Wednesday if nobody breaks anything...

They were shooting a lot of pistol last night, normally I hear a lot of shotgun and rifle but last night was dynamite and pistol dumps for the most part... Need to venture out into the cold and see if I have any damage from those idiots...
