My Chihuahua Daisy has been barking at something outside for nearly 24 hours now, but I can't figure out what it is. Going out to investigate when it's completely light.

Both of mine have been going nuts each evening from about 9pm to nearly midnight for the last couple of nights. Standing at the door barking. Then resting. Then barking. Sometimes changing from the patio door to the front door. NOTHING is out there. No tracks in the snow. Nothing.

I think it might be the wind?

Good to know. Or you know how the snow kind of creaks when it's really cold?

If the owners are crazy then doggie eventually picks that up.

Well I did teach mine to be on the lookout for pink, hello kitty and Jedi ... and to attack combinations of any of those 3 things!

It's finally warmed up to -12°F in NW Iowa. Now, that wind makes it -29°F. Whew! And my BILs are going ice fishing. Yeah, no.
