Hey is anyone planning on traveling to Texas for NRA this year? I will be there!

I've never really considered going to one. What is there to do?

A lot of different vendors that aren't in all the stores across the US are there showing and selling their products. Also all the big guys are there too, everything from apparel, to every accessory your could imagine, as well as the gun manufactures themselves. Tons of cutting edge stuff. If you are interested I think NRA is coming to Indy next year. I went to ATA (archery trade association) this year too, it was super cool. Got to shoot the brand new PSE bow, so its like that just all guns.

I attended the 2012 events in St. Louis.

I won't be able to afford to go to Texas this year, but next year I'll crawl to Indy if I have to in order to attend.

Great times, as long as you can be on your feet for the day.

If they're coming to Indy next year I'll sure try and get there.

As long as they do not prohibit or impede carrying, like the gun shows do.

I boycott all gun shows that prohibit carrying. No, unloaded and 'peace-tied' is NOT carrying.
