They forgot about the Coast Guard. There are roughly 43, 000 personell that have to qualify yearly. Round count depends on the unit.

Yeah, I read that in the American Rifleman. It makes sense but it still sucks when I can't find enough decently price 22LR to shoot for a couple hours our 223 ammo(pre panic prices) to even shoot occasionally. Some of this if my fault; I refuse to make the dozens of weekly stops required to find decently priced ammo.

BTW, stopped by Wal-Mart today and they had a pretty good selection on everything but 22lr. Prices higher than pre- stupid but not bad overall.
