I'm drinking the koolaid and really liking it!:n00b: :koolaid:

I recently built a Noveske gen 2 chainsaw lower for my 458 socom. While kruising the Noveske website I noticed their saftey selectors that are a 60 degree throw, and they're a Noveske/Magpul product, hmm! I had to try one!:)

Installation was simple and straight forward, remove the grip along with the saftey selector retaining spring and detent and the old one wiggles right out and in with the new one. The Noveske selector comes with a short and long lever, I chose to use the long so I could easily use it with gloved hands. The lever is retained by a small screw through the tumbler ( the instructions say "it requires a really small pain in the butt screwdriver, that your local gunsmith is sure to have on hand") :lmfao: I had one that fit perfectly and I installed the whole thing in about five minutes.

I really like the 60 degree throw, very easy to flip it back and forth, and it's smooth with a crisp stop/click at both safe and fire.:woot:

Now I just need to get to the reloading bench and get a few rounds made up to give this thing a good go, so far though, I love it!:rockwoot:

The safety lever itself looks just like the one they offer for the SCAR. Doubt I'll be coughing up the dough; I don't have a problem with the regular safety, and if I liked the 60-degree one, I'd have to buy like 8 of 'em... :spend: :faint:

It says they are backordered, was this the case when you ordered it? I put in for notifications through Rainier but who knows if they will get them in first or not.

Have a Noveske STS-60A (ambi) inbound to the shop; will install it in a demo lower and post my impressions.

    I hate you guys. :)

So how many more are you going to order next week?
