Gonna do our fireworks display tonight.

Depending on which forecast you look at tomorrow has the possibility of being extremely hot and humid along with chance of t-storms.

Tonight is very pleasant and I shouldn't sweat like CTC in a church while lighting them off :lmfao:

I'd recommend the 30 minute ranger tour at Lincoln's Birthplace. I'd never had known about the cabin's secret.

Hit up Dinosaur World, before heading to our hotel by Lake Cumberland. Houseboat trip starts tomorrow. Time to go off the grid for a few. Always refreshing.

View attachment 284775Can anyone recommend good tree service in South Lake County.
We’ve used Priced Rite. They weren’t necessarily cheap, but they did an excellent job and hauled away everything they chopped down. We had a group of 5 trees removed and they laid grass seed down.
Our neighbor just used them this week for a lot more work, they used out driveway and had to go through part of our yard. They didn’t leave a trace that they were there.

I worked in CP with a guy from Winfield who said CP would never get riff raff because they can't afford the taxes. B.S., the taxes aren't that high. Going south of 30 no longer avoids riff raff including Winfield. Many people moved from Griffith, Highland, Dyer, etc. to CP, Valpo and such thinking to avoid it. Seems they have more problems than the places they left. I read Valpo had a big heroin problem awhile back. Riff raff? Spoiled wealthy kids with too much time? Who knows.
You have a big misperception of what Valpo is like.

You moved south of the river why? Because you don’t wanna deal with that crap either. No blame, next time we move wil be FAAAAAAARRRRRRR, not jedi far, FAAARRRRRR
My plan has been 20 acres well south of several rivers in Orange county against the National Forest. That's pretty far from the riff raff. Second county from KY. Several natural backstops for a couple hundred yards. Even got modern conveniences.
