Well... that's one way to do it. If you're going to purge your ranks of those you don't feel are loyal this would probably make others snap to attention.

I wonder when we'll have to fight a North Korea supplied by China?

That will leave a mark.... Once I talked to a disabled veteran who told me he was hit by a mortar round. It fell on him and hit him in the back, deflecting it somehow so that it didn't go off. they gave him a medal for saving the guys he was with and sent him home in a wheelchair.
