.45-70 over 12 Gauge, has a stock, 12" bbls, came from the factory with a stock as a title I gun but has been converted to Title II by a manufacturer.

Is it a SBR, SBS, DD, or AOW and is it legal in Indiana?

    Go....

WOW! thats a head scratcher! I would say SBR and SBS. If it is indeed SBS then no Indiana legal as I am sure you know but I will be interested to see the other comments on here.

Well, I screwed up the barrel length discription so lets get it out in the open. (was supposed to say 12" - Now Edited)

JT is correct: By federal standards it is an AOW

However, it is still illegal in Indiana as it meets the description of a SBS per Indiana. BoooO!

    IC 35-47-1-10

    As added by P.L.311-1983, SEC.32.

Darn was thinking a drilling with 12" barrels would be cool ... but still possible ok if the OAL is 26.01 inches or a little bit more ;-)

How could it be AOW when it came from the factory with a shoulder stock?
By federal standards would'nt it be an SBS?
