Congrats, Ive been wanting to do a .458 build for quite awhile now! And please don't think I'm a stick in the mud, or a prude, but why must we refer to our firearms as "toys"?

i refer to my firarms as toys mainly because for me they are my entertainment and most are not somthing i NEED so they are toys. mabye if i was some form of operator or currently deployed in harms way they would be tools

Congrat, now you need to stock up some watermelons. They are fun targets to shoot with the 458 socom. Or drink a lot of milk or water from a gallon bottles.

what does a 458 kit cost approx?

By kit do you mean upper? :dunno:

RRA has offerings for around $700.
Teppo Jutsu uppers are built to spec with stainless barrels. I got this one to my door for less than $600, and there is a 16" on arfcom for $625. I really wanted the 16 instead of the 18, but this one was a better buy.
