And soon to be new to your state.

Currently in pennsylvania and in a relationship with an elkhart native. Will be going there hopefully in the next month to visit her family.

I am a LEO for a small town, and was a factory worker for years before that, making Charmin TP lol. I've carried for five years, two of them was OC when I found out about it. I've gotten to know a lot of amazing people in the OC community. I knew Mealeanie Haine the gun toting soccer mom. I also knew one of the first guys to be disarmed while OCing.

I didn't take much interest in guns, even after I bought my first pistol. It wasn't until after I got Into a bit of legal trouble with guns that I started looking up the laws and realized how big the community was for it.

So since I will be traveling out to your state and I like to study firearms law I figured Id drop by, take a look around, ask a few questions.

    Welcome to the group!

    :welcome:

Indiana is one of the most firearm loving states in the union. Although we do have a few strange laws, for the most part unless the feds have shoved it down our throats, we are about as free as they come when it comes to what you can have.

We recognize all other state's carry permits and/or licenses, and even though the constitution says otherwise, we do have a lifetime license to carry a handgun. Makes it easier for some people to take when they find out you paid your tax to have a piece of paper validating a "right".

Welcome to the state, and hope you find it to your liking.

    Welcome to INGO.

My brother lives in Sarver, Pennsylvania.

It looks like you folks have some pretty decent firearms laws. Very similar to pa.

Much better than Pennsylvania's gun laws.

As well, we do not have your Byzantine alcohol rules.:D

Does your state constitution mirror the 2a?

No. You will find Indiana's RKBA provision in Article I, §32.

    Indiana Constitution - Article 1

It's good to see states with rights. I'm surrounded on nearly all sides by some of the worst in the US. New York, New Jersey, Maryland. It's terrible!

Alcohol laws that make sense? No draconian liquor control board?

Can you... perhaps... buy beer at a gas station? Maybe even cases without going to distributors?!
