I've been reading the threads on this forum for a while and finally decided to introduce myself.
Most of my experience with firearms comes from basic training (M16 A2) but I've never owned my own firearm until a couple weeks ago when I convinced my wife (after years of trying) that being prepared is better than being a victim. We both applied for our LTCH and purchased a Glock 19.
We are both planning on taking a basic pistol course using the Glock and then picking up a 2nd pistol once we both figure out what we are most comfortable using.
