I saw on my Facebook Glock said look out for new stuff in 2013! Hopefully it's a kick butt carbine to go along with the Gen 4 new releases. Come on Glock surprise us!

The Glock "Carbine" is a myth / urban legend that will never happen in the next decade or longer.

Don't mean to bust your balloon although, a true Glock Carbine = I'd buy one in a heartbeat but it just won't happen in my lifetime. ~per many factory Glock rep's that I have spoken with.

A single stack .40 would be nice. Anyone tried the new 36. I talked to a friend last night that just got one, but hasn't shot it. I'd imagine a small .45 would have quite a recoil.

I'm not aware of a new 36, do you mean the 30S?

Glock never comes out with anything new, just tweaks on old guns, the last two shot shows the only thing new has been old models that have been introduced as Gen 4's. I'm not holding my breath for anything revolutionary.

I would assume that they are talking about the Glock 30s, which is something that doesn't surprise me and something I wouldn't be interested in. Glock needs to step out of the box and do something that will impress people.

Last armorer course I took the Glock instructor said that they had a shotgun prototype they had plans to mass produce. That was a few years ago, maybe thats what it is.
