    Which Benchmade Auto is the best for everyday carry?

    FYI: Auto knives are totally illegal in Indiana to own, and or carry.

    To answer your question...any of the out the side models are very reliable, it just boils down to personal preference on blade length, overall length and style. Stay away from the OTF (Out The Front) models, although they are cool they are not known for reliability. :twocents:

    Ok, I'm clear on the legality issue for Indiana. I'm actually checking into Iowa. Where does Tyler34 sharpen. I have an old Emerson CQC tanto with wave. I had a Microtech and never could get the Emerson as sharp.

    Benchmade make a couple of really nice assisted knives. i have the 913 Nitrous Stryker. It fires like an auto, but it is considered assisted and therfore cheaper.
