From the employer you got it from in the first place. I believe they are required to maintain those records for 10 to 15 years.

Well, I'm assuming you filed your taxes in 2010 - If you did, all the info from your W-2 will be on your 1040

Yep, best bet is to check with employer...IRS will have it but usually charges a fee to dig it up.

I have had to do this in the past through the IRS and it was FREE. Takes about 4-6 weeks to receive it. It is not exactly your W@ but the info you should need will be on there.

Would it really be your old boss you would have to talk to to get this old info you need or another employee who handles all payroll and taxes?

+1, I have all of my tax info going back to the very first time I ever filed income taxes at age 14 or so IIRC.
