I posted before that I inherited a Marlin 39A and needed a inner tube, I got it in the mail today, now I need to get the stock repaired, I tore it all down tonight and cleaned and inspected it, and the stock is broke worse than I thought, and not sure it can be fixed, but would like to try and keep the gun original as possible. I found stocks on Ebay, But don't want to buy one yet. Does anyone know some one that can fix stocks?

Not sure how to post pics. Haven't done it here yet. I got a pic of it saved on my computer, and can send it to photobucket, but they changed there format and dont know how to even post pics from there anymore :(

The pics were really small for me so I couldn't see much. But the stock looks pretty bad. some ppl say you can repair a crack there but I'd either buy a replacement set from Boyds or try to find a decent take off on line somewhere. I've repaired several stocks and they have turned out ok but if it's a big crack I'd rather replace it. :twocents:
