Nano 8rd Mag Issue

So I have the Beretta Nano with only a 200-250 rds through it. When I shoot FMJ at the range I never have a problem with the 8rd mag getting the first round chambered. However, when I put JHP in the 8rd mag the first round doesn't want to feed. It seems like the mag spring is REALLY tight when full and something on the casing might be hanging up. I have to hold the slide open while ejecting the mag to clear it. Anyone else had this problem with a Nano and have a good fix?

Pull the slide back and let it snap shut, don't ride it closed. It also helps to polish the feed ramp.

Nevered had a problem but I did polish my feed ramp too.

thanks guys, will give polishing the feed ramp a shot and make sure not to "baby" it.
