For sale is the infamous Nagant M1895 Revolver. Known for its gas-sealed design, the gap between the cylinder and barrel along with an unusual cartridge design helped to increase muzzle velocity. This revolver was the standard issue side arm of the Imperial Russian Army from 1895 up until, impressively, present day. This particular example is the double-action, hailed over the single action and issued to officers, it met critism for its heavy double-action trigger pull. Produced in great numbers during WWI and WWII, it would eventually be phased out by the Tokarev pistol in the early 1950's where its role was reduced from military to civil service.
Stamped by Tula, this example saw refurbishment during some point of its life before being imported and sold here in the states. Included is an original holster from 1940 with an original strap and cleaning rod. The revolver retains its original wooden grips along with a mirrored barrel with strong lands and grooves. There is no surface rust or any condition issues that I am aware of. Also included will be 96 rounds of PPU manufactured ammo. Asking $450.
Buyer must be willing to meet near Hamilton County (NE of Indy), preferably in the Fishers area.
Price has been reduced to $360 for a quick sale.
