Just wanted to throw this out there. After much deliberation and looking at dozens of "gunsmith" websites, I figured.... "Hey, I can do that". Overall, I am very happy with the results.
Although it may be obvious to most, I candled (actually used a heat gun) to smooth out the back-strap. I used a Dremel tool to round out the front of the trigger guard, remove the finger grooves, do some slight beveling around the mag release, get rid of the "thumb bumps", raise the index finger top rest at the back of the trigger guard, and the obvious stippling.
