My new Glock 26, Show-N-Tell

Just wanted to throw this out there. After much deliberation and looking at dozens of "gunsmith" websites, I figured.... "Hey, I can do that". Overall, I am very happy with the results.

Although it may be obvious to most, I candled (actually used a heat gun) to smooth out the back-strap. I used a Dremel tool to round out the front of the trigger guard, remove the finger grooves, do some slight beveling around the mag release, get rid of the "thumb bumps", raise the index finger top rest at the back of the trigger guard, and the obvious stippling.

I'm curious, what kind of holster do you use? Does it retain based on fit to the trigger guard? Did changing the trigger guard change how well it retained?

The 26 is a fine little carry pistol. I am rarely a fan of homegrown polymer stippling, but it looks like you did a very nice job...... Congrats!

Thanks for taking the time to post. Always a little risky on a DIY project like that but it looks like it turned out great.

WebSnyper, I use an Appendix IWB Kydex holster that I molded to the gun itself. I also have a have a tuck-able IWB "behind the hip" that I molded to it prior to the mods and it still retains the gun without any noticeable difference. The only other holsters I use are a Galco Glove and a couple Blackhawk Serpas, both work fin with the mods.
