Went down to Cabelas today and picked up a G19 Gen3. I've been carrying and using a G17 Gen1. So far, I'm loving the grips and the feel of this gun. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. I think I'll try to make it down to the range this afternoon and run a few rounds through it. I paid $519.99 for it. I'm thinking I probably could have shopped around a bit but I really wanted it now!

    Here they are together....

Woot! Congrats on the new piece and thanks for the pics! I really dig my 19 and it seems much carry use during the summer. Great pistol! Plus, the mags for your 17 can be used in the 19 (and even a 26) so you are good to go all across the board!

Took it to the range this afternoon and I was really happy with its performance. I put 150 rounds through it and everything ran really well. On my last target I shot 15 rounds from 3 yards and then 15 rounds from 7 yards. Overall, I am very happy about this purchase!

Congrats on the new purchase! A 3rd gen Glock 19 was my very first 9mm, and currently I carry a Glock 26 as a back up gun. Can't go wrong with Glock! :D

    p.s: I am jealous you have a 1st gen G17. ;)

I think I'll have to get the 26 to complete the Trifecta. Then of course, I would need the .40 and .45 cal versions and then I'm going to need a safe to put all of these in. And nobody wants an empty safe so I guess I'll need to fill it up.

It's a slippery, slippery slope. One that I'm excited to travel down!

My 19 is the one that finally convinced me to go to the plastic side. Still have it and one of my all time favorites!
