Isn't that an M38

Looks like an M44, the M38's were not designed to have a bayonet; the one in the pic has a bayo lug.

-edit- upon further inspection, that doesn't seem to have a lug - that could be a M38. If I'm not mistaken the M44's have a blonde finish - you may be right dude.
