85%. Made the mistake of trying to out-think the test; certain things seemed like obvious answers, so I figured the test maker was trying to trip me up, when really, they were obvious answers because I was remembering the actual answers :)

I got a 95%. I missed the question, "Who was President during WWI?" I didn't look closely and selected Franklin Roosevelt thinking WWII. I got out of college a year ago. I hope I can remember this stuff in 20 years.

Missed 2. WW1 President and Susan B. Anthony. Should have done better for being out of school less than 10 years.

    Where's the bacon?
100% I think it was too simple, but then again it's MSNBC.

No slam on anyone here, as history and civics are not everyone's forte'... but MSNBC said they chose the more difficult questions.

FWIW, I agree. This test was far too simple, even for what it's for. Or perhaps especially because of who it's for.

    Blessings,
    Bill

I mean I guess I'm too wrapped up in history and back in the day. I just think that to get citizenship you need to know everything that has made this country great and all of the minor details in all of American history...but then again most citizens wouldn't know everything. In a perfect world, I guess...

IDK I just take pride in the history and am a firm believer that history repeats itself...

It could be worse. Until the early 70s the Secretary of State was third in line, but they had to change tha because Henry Kissinger was born in Germany. Otherwise, we would be looking at Hillary as #3.
