    Gov. Rick Snyder (R-MI) wants to create a government database of children's weight so he can combat their obesity problems. When the governor gives an order, doctors are supposed to listen and comply.


    Michigan to require BMI reports on kids
    Gov. Rick Snyder plans to direct doctors in Michigan to begin monitoring the body weight of their young patients and provide the data to a state registry in one of the most extensive government efforts to address the growing problem of pediatric obesity, the Associated Press has learned.

    A nice contract was probably let for this work after some consultation with a connected $1k per hour law firm. We can all pay for this political gratuity as obie sends stimulus bucks to michigan, it fits in with his wife's programs. Legal corruption as usual.
