Apparently there were no winning tickets for last night's Megamillions $250,000,000.00 jackpot. The estimated jackpot for Tuesday is now $356,000,000.00. I don't get stupid buying lottery tickets but I bought 5 for last night and will be buying a few for Tuesday as well.

I could live with retirement at 39 years old.

Why retire......... have you ever had the desire to be a printer?

When you win I know a guy that will have a shop for sale........:D

How about the three of us win and share it?

Bought ONE ticket this morning. It's a winner, I can feel it in my innards.

Nah, the only thing I'm buying right away is one of those miniature giraffes like they have in that commercial. I wonder if they come with the miniature treadmill?

There was a pretty good t-storm last night. I went outside in the front yard and tried to get hit by lightning. It did'nt happen. :(

I don't play any of the Loto games, but I just might have to throw a couple bucks down on this one.

almost retired last friday. our pool at work hit 4 numbers and the mega-ball. we get to split $10,000. my part is going to help fund a summer trip to disney for the family; would be nice to have fun with it, but taking 3 kids to the mouse-run money pit ain't gonna be cheap.

Yeah but your chances were better than those who sat the storm out in their basement. :D
True. Like they say though, with the way the odds are for the lottery you have a better chance of getting hit by lightning. I can't even get hit by lightning. :D

The wife and I usually spend 10 bucks on tickets when the prize gets real big like it is. Then we have fun talking and dreaming about what we would with the money.

$356 million is just about enough to supplement my pension.

People don't play because the odds of winning are so small. My philosophy is holding one ticket gives you a lot better odds than the guy who doesn't have one. :D

Nothing wrong with that as long as it aren't spending the milk money. You are buying a dream for a buck. I consider the small chance of actually winning a bonus. :spend:

If you had the only winning ticket, +or- 140mm is what you get if you take it all at once. Invested in tax free municipal bonds at 4.5% you would receive 6.3mm a year, or a monthly income of $525,000.00 for the next 30 years. And the 140mm is still there!

We each. Hop in a buck at work when it gets high. Split it if we win. There is 1 guy who doesn't. Gonna suck when he's the only employee left. Lol.

I'm not sure what I would do with that kind of money. Maybe buy some new jeans and t shirts. Maybe buy Glock so I could build a black 1911 :)
