It hit about 55 F today, man I am enjoying this little "spring break" we're getting for a few days.

Got up to 54 today. Still feels nice at 47! The cold beer I'm drinking is going down really easy!

warm!!! went out to the garage and fired up the beast for the first time in about 2 months. talked with a buddy of mine for a few hours about our race cars and spent about a half hour at bass n bucks. nope, they don't have any Glock 23's there.

DanielOcean03 and I went to HCFG today to shoot off some .22. It was windy, but the temperature was warm. The place was practically flooded. When we arrived, there was a lot of slush and a lot of ice. By the time we left a couple hours later, there was just slush. Where there used to be nice sturdy ice to walk on, we found many hidden surprises. My shoes are still soaked.

Mid 50's in lovely Greencastle, and I took advantage of it:

Fixed the down spout that blew off last night
Put the lattice back on the deck that blew off and then got covered with snow
shoveled a wagon load of poop out of the chicken pen
Mowed the front yard for the first time since spring of 2008
Loaded five hundred rounds of 9mm
shot some it
shot some .22
Organized the barn to a small extent
fixed a tire

Some times it is good when the family is gone.

It hit 64 degrees down here in Evansville. Spent the day with my 5-year old. A great day!
