In WW2 they had mag pouches.
Which you can still find.

Now to find a place where they sell that.
The mags are carried using a magazine pouch on a pistol belt with suspenders.
However this stuff getting too expensive for day to day use. It's also not designed for larger modern people!
The more modern stuff works too, and it's SUPER DIRT CHEAP and will carry your carbine mags just fine.

Thanks I'm not looking to replicate what they used in WWII.
Just want to be able to carry all my magazines more easily be it a <<wahtever>>.
