We're having another Low Light shoot Wednesday December 10, 2014 at 6:30pm.

Come have some fun in a low light environment to test your shooting skills.

    · When: Wednesday, December 10, 2014
    · Start Time: 6:30pm
    · Cost: $20 per person
    · Prize: Gift Cards to top 3 finishers.

The shoot will consist of 50 rounds, 5 shots at 10 different targets. They will vary in distance and the shooting will be timed. 5 points for a head shot, 2 points for a body shot, shoot a hostage lose all points for that target. We will pay out the top three places in gift cards. The amounts will be determined by the total number of participants.

Going to open this one up to carbines. If you're shooting a carbine, you'll need 30 rounds for it, 20 pistol rounds. This will be good practice for transitioning from carbine to pistol.

If you don't want to run a carbine, bring 50 pistol rounds.

Belt holster and mag pouches are your friend. Handheld or gun mounted light/laser is fine. I'll have a loaner handheld light if you need one.

    I'll be there.

If I can get my old Just Right carbine working by then, I'll have that. Otherwise . . . AR baby!

What is the starting position for pistols--low ready or draw from the holster? I have a gun-mounted light/laser for my pistol, but do not have a
holster yet that will fit it with the light attached.

    Chest/vest/thigh rigs fine.

Was gonna say use what you would roll out of bed in the middle of the night, but Rhino is subscribed to this thread, and that kinda scares me ;)

I was lurking in here for fun (:shady:) and thought, "the 10th isn't a Wed" ...then I realized I hadn't switched my calendar from Nov to Dec yet.

Huge shout-out to Joe Viray, Adam Bright & Jackson Clark for scoring & pulling targets and relief RO'ing. We can't do this without volunteers pulling & putting up targets. I'm in your debt, gentlemen!

    Results:

    1. Chuck Phillips $75.00

    2. Joseph Viray $50.00

    3. Dane Elkins $25.00

We had 23 shooters tonight. Thanks to all who showed up. We will do it again next month!
