It is frustrating that not every good case can be prosecuted. The court system is pretty much broken and the jails don't have the capacity to keep all the dangerous folks locked up until trial. The prisons don't have enough room to keep all the people justly convicted, to serve their debt to society. Way too much plea bargaining and dropping or lowering of charges. Good cops get frustrated. The only thing that a good cop can depend upon is that time is on his/ her side. In the mean time, society suffers the abuse of thugs who should have been locked up a long time ago and the key thrown away. The same goes for bad cops. Eventually, their dirty deeds catch up with them. Bad people just can't stop and that is their achilles heel.Neat. Then apply that same standard when people who aren't cops shoot people with real bullets. The point is uneven treatment by the prosecutors office.
