Having a difficult time finding a 14.5" AR bbl to finish up a build. Needs to be 5.56/223 and 1/2x28 threads. Prefer mid but carbine gas is ok. M4 feed ramps, etc. Not picky on profile.

Not looking for a bank breaker either, $200 or less.

Any suggestions from the INGO Brain Trust?

    5.56 NATO .223 BARRELS

Several to choose from. Ballistics Advantage makes great 5.56/5.45 barrels. Their barrels are highly spoken of by Spike's Tactical. These will be melonite coated and have nickel boron barrel extensions. If you use coupon code "LEGACY" you get 10% off, making the barrel $202.50.

Damn, I probably would have tried one of their 10.5" barrels if I didn't get a Rainier already

Love my Ballistics Advantage 5.45 barrel. I had my Vortex Viper on it to start and I was getting around 1.5 moa 10 shot groups (I'm not that great of a shot). Was pleasantly surprised to see that from surplus ammo.

wsenefeld- did you have any issues with that BA 5.45 bbl? I read of a case of cycling issues with Wolf 60g but Hornady V-MAX would cycle fine.

    Thanks.

    Thanks.

I have no personal experience with the 5.45 vmax but have shot 500-600 surplus 7n6 and 200-300 wolf 60gr through it. The surplus did give me 3 failures to feed within the first 200 rounds but I think that was a magazine problem. Since then everything has run smooth. I use ASC and C products mags.
