I know its not too close, but there is a private range that you can become a member of for a very reasonable rate in Brazil. PM if you want more details.

The Minnehaha property on the other side of Dugger has a "range". It is essentially a couple of dirt mounds as backstops, and 3 benches. It is free, though. Search for "minnehaha" on this board for pics and more info.

Minnehaha may be your closest and smartest choice. It's on the backside of Sullivan near the dump (in that area). For what it is, free and accessible, you can't beat it. For you, it's a 20 minute drive from Linton probably.

What about the Linton Conservation Club. It used to have a public pistol range. Turn North on Consevation Road by the City Park and go a couple of miles, it is on the right. I use to shoot there a few years ago, not sure if it is still up and running. I would call the Police Depatment and just ask.
