After 4 years of my Sigma eating into my back I am looking for something that will be lighter, print less, and be more conducive to a cargo shorts & white tee shirt wardrobe for the warmer summer months.

I've been looking around at single stack 9mm's like the Walther PPS, Kel Tec PF9, or possibly something else in that size range. I'd like to avoid a compact grip because they just don't fit my hand properly and affect the way I shoot.

    Whatcha think?

Add the Kahr CW9 to your list of candidates.
Graduate from tee shirts to Hawaiian and other printed shirts for the summer.

The kahr pm9 is a nice small size, I just can't seem to justify the price, but it's all what u want I guess...

    I whole-heartedly recommend a Kahr CW-9 or P-9.

If you want a full-sized grip, the pistols you've mentioned don't cut it... At least for me. (I'm right around 6'4" and have proportionate hands to my height)

Could also look into a M&P compact, or even a Ruger SR9c.

    What's your budget like?

I would go with a Kahr CW9 if your stuck on wanting a single stack. Otherwise go with a g26 or 27.

I put a belt clip on my PF9 and it does work well for easy to conceal and relativity comfortable.
So I give this a :yesway: also

I carry my M&P 9mm compact 99% of the time. I carry it with a full 17 round mag with X-Grips in the winter and use the compact magazine in summer. But when I need deeper concealment, I use my J-frame revolver. I guess you could say I'm a Smith&Wesson guy.

On a side note, before I purchased my M&P9c, I went to the store thinking I wanting a Kahr PM9, but I chose the M&Pc. It felt like it was a custom mold to my hand compared to the other pistols I held.

I have pretty big hands but I found that Taurus 901 to feel really good. It's a tiny little 9mm on par with a Keltec, but doesn't feel at all the same.

I'm content with my Ruger LCP for now. I still prefer my G23 though :D

I don't have the Ruger but may I ask how you carry (Holester and area of the body) I had a sigma and my G23 they were if I remember correctly about the same size. For consealment I have a IWB supertuck that at 2:30 you can't see no matter what I wear. I'm not much for the tight fitting shirts but I don't wear huge ones either. You'll save a lot of money if you find a more comfortable way to carry.

For context: I personally don't care if I print and I also OC quite a bit
