I'm looking for an inexpensive project bike to wrench on during the spring. The goal is to put together a bobber, cafe racer, thumper or rat just to tool around town in.
The ideal candidate will be an 80s model Honda, Yamaha or Kawasaki. I would also consider a British bike like a Triumph or BSA if the price is right.
My budget is around $600-800 and location is Indy area. I'd be willing to drive about an hour for a good deal. Must have clear title. It doesn't have to be pretty, but I'd like to see it turn over.
Let me know if you've got something taking up space in your garage, or better yet, shed or barn.
