long gun question

I just wanted to clarify this but it is legal to carry a long gun in IN with no paper work or permits whatsoever right? whether it be concealed in a vehicle or open carried like people are doing at the rallies. IC 35-47-2-1 ( which is what ISP directed me to ) makes no mention of long guns.

You still have to be wary of Gun Free Zones.

That would be legally prohibited GFZs. "Recommended" or "requested" GFZs are still perfectly fine, legally, but might merit some reaction. They shouldn't, but they do.
