We always just use McMaster Carr. They are expensive and not really local, but it usually comes in 2 days.

While not a good source, I have bought Delrin and other plastics from Grainger in the past when in a jam. Several locations in around town, fair chance one of the will have something you can use.

    Might try:

    Total Plastics Inc.
    3316 Pagosa Ct.
    Indy

    317-543-3540

The company I work for buys from them. I believe they are much cheaper than McMaster.

I bought two large blocks for the same purpose at the Grainger Warehouse, I-69 and 96th, first building South of Home Depot. At the time, they had white and blue.

What sort are you looking for? I may be able to get ahold of a little bit of black round stock either 1/2" diameter or 1 1/2" diameter (your choice) for a little bit of nothing. It may take a few weeks if you can wait that long (and then you'd have to head down to Bloomington to pick it up or wait until I come that way sometime).

thanks for the offer but i think ill pass.... i am looking for several differant sizes for differant purposes in my shop... the pressing issue for the rifle build woiuld be a piece about 2.5x2.5 and maybe 4 inches long... need it to enhance the ramp going into the chamber, and if that doesnt work to completely fill the magazine box and form a loading shelf.... also need some to wrap leather around to use as padding for my vise.

DPMS Upper Receiver Action Block AR-15 Delrin
... And trying our luck building Uppers/Lowers from same, although we're using a slightly different recipe than just the delrin. Trial and lots of errors.
