    What trips your trigger ?

Is it a ceramic coated stainless .40 cal. pistol with Micarta grips ,clipped into a Kydex scabbard inside the waistband of your 511 cargo trousers, and a black Cordura one point sling weighted with a 16" barreled holo sighted, vertical fore grip, collapseable stock M4 or m4orgery carbine, hanging fromyour shoulder ?

Or does it take, genuine cow leather, stuffed with 4 3/4" of blue steel and elk antler, nothing less than 44 caliber, hanging from the suede lined alligator hide belt around the waist of your Levis, not to mention the black walnut stocked ,tang sighted, big loop lever action 20" barreled short rifle in the same caliber, with the crescent butt plate resting on the toe of your Tony Llamas ?

May be a breed of mixed, natural and man made old school and new ?

    What's your poision ?

    Why not both?

I just ordered one of these, going to see if it carries the way I like:

Inside Waistband Holsters - Minotaur Holsters - products new home - Minotaur MTAC Holster

Ended up having some problems w/the crossbreed supertuck that led to its return. At my desired carry depth, my belt would press into the magazine eject and cause it to release on occasion, a definite problem to say the least, and I had an issue w/the clips, after an RMA they agreed to just take it back. Good company, but just not for me.

Looking forward to trying out the MTAC. One of my favorite features is the easy to change out spare bodies. Dropping nearly $100 on a holster I would hate to have it rendered useless when I decide to change out my EDC, instead it's just $38 for the new mold and I can swap between them as desired. Plus you don't have to wait a month and a half for it to ship.

    I'm a kydex guy.

Though I do have leather for my 686.

If you really care for your gun's finish... don't carry it. If you really don't care for the finish, carry it in leather.

plastic gun, metal slide, kydex and leather holster, with a little bit of copper and lead inside for good measure. I like a good mix of materials.

    To be fair:

I have kydex only and a hybrid holster that see the most work. However, if I remember correctly, the Henry hybrid holster is a Boltoron pancake holster mounted to the leather backing. The gun doesn't toucn the leather.

There's room for it all. I've built classic leather rigs for SAA's Hand Ejectors and 1911's and am now making kydex for whatever someone wants to carry, including my Glock 19 with a TLR-3
