    The best worms I have ever used were some infomercial "walking worms" they absolutely slammed the bass. They come all coiled up and try to recoil giving a nice life like action.

    Great Advice!The only thing I will add is that I have noticed that after you catch a few fish,or get snagged,eventually the hooks kind of pull loose from their original position and this harms the action of the worm...you should replace the worm if it gets badly damaged.

    Ive had great success with them. I just learned that they are illegal to use in indiana though.
