just wanted to say hello. been lurking for a while. i have loved guns since i was a kid in ky. owned my first single shot 22 at the age of 9. used my paper route money to buy it. mother didnt like it but didnt say much. that was about 1951. got out of shooting when my kids were little and i lived in the city, but now live in brown county and can shoot off my back porch all day if i like. looking into getting a garand for some shooting. i qualified with the garand in the army a very long time ago. in the process of joining the bloomington gun club. live close enough to attabury to hit the public range there. well thanks and stay on target...
