This was my first shotgun as a kid. It's a J.C. Higgins Model 583.20 12 guage bolt action shotgun. It is full choked and accepted 2.75" shells.
This shotgun does not fire as it sits. The bolt broke in half years ago and I have never found a new one to replace.
It would make a nice wall piece or parts gun for someone who has a working Model 583.20.
The stock is in nice shape with pretty wood however the barrel bluing is fading and spotty.
Yours for $50 or trade for ammo (.40, .357 sig) , Magpul MOE or CTR stock (milspec), Heck, who knows what I'll accept - try me.
