I have been looking to do some trading and the guy i'm talking to has this J.C. Higgins chambered in .16 gauge. It is an interesting looking gun and pretty old too. I did some google searching and found an old recall on the bolt. Seems as though it could come flying back at the shooter and cause some damage.
I am wondering if anyone has some experience with this gun. Could this really happen and can it be fixed.
