Anyone using an inside the waistband mag pouch for concealed carry? I've been trying one out for the last couple of weeks but it's so uncomfortable I end up taking it off. Anyone had any good experiences with a certain mag carrier? The one I've been using is a Foxx leather/kydex hybrid. Thanks in advance

No. I have enough stuff inside my waist bad. I have opted for a single mag carrier OWB on tne weak side.

I found carrying a mag iwb to be extremely uncomfortable. I tried it a couple times with a comp-tac mag pouch, ended up selling the pouch to a member here.

Henry Holsters makes a nice kydex one that works well to carry at about 11:00 IWB. Right now I have it attached to a holster and carry everything right up front.

I tried the "shirt tucked in" IWB method and had great issue with how it rubbed me. Even with a healthy amount of padding and an undershirt, I was unable to get things comfortable.

Since I typically utilize a cover garment, I carry OWB support side mags. When I'm carrying deeper cover (no cover garment) then I typically have one or two speed strip loaders in a pocket with nothing else.

I've used a Dale Fricke iwb at 11 o'clock. Not too bad if you are wearing an appendix rig strong side, but it does seem like a lot.

Thanks for the replies everyone. So it seems like a lot of people are having the comfort issue I am except you appendix carriers. Anyone else have something that works well for them?

Kydex OWB for me. Currently in the process of making a new one in thicker material. I'm looking at making one of these: phlster-html5

He charges 45 bucks. The most expensive part is the RCS clip on the back. IMO it's not worth the extra $30 for the labor/kydex/rivets.

If you're not a DIYer, Bravo Concealment seems to be the best price I've found for OWB mag carriers.
