Dang. I thought this thread was dead. Someday I hope it achieves the status of "You can own and carry but?" People can use it to run up their post count, make fun of Don of Don's Guns, question Frosty's sanity and even wonder what ever happened to Tin Can. Sniff! My little baby is growing. I'm so proud.:)

Revolvers are way too complex, with those fancy revolving parts and all. Too much to go wrong when you need it.

    There's actually truth in that^!
Take one semi-auto to the range and it jams...fiddle with it and it's back in the game.
Take one revolver to the range and it jams...you are done for the day! It's way more involved to fix them!

After owning handguns for 35 years now and buying and selling them for a living for 20 years, the G23 is my favorite.

Where are all of these threads about jamming revolvers? True, when a revolver jams it is major...but you're more likely to see a unicorn. I've shot many thousands of rounds through my revolvers without ever a jam. All but one of my autos have had hiccups now and then. You can read about autos jamming and FTF all the time for so many reasons (mags, dirty, limp wrist, ammo, feedramp, springs, yada yada).

Apparently, they are more common than a revolver that jams...and since I already had one that did that, I want my freakin' unicorn! Nao.

Just start a thread asking what the best unicorn load is and where they hunt. That will get the ball rolling...

A thread about gypsies trying to decide what load to use for unicorns while bemoaning the fact that their revolver is jammed and wishing they had "gyped" someone out of a Ruger is in order.
