Is anyone familiar with the Double Tap Defense?

Has anyone shot either the 9mm or the .45acp version?
I've seen the reviews in the gun rags but I've never even held one.
Does it have the recoil they say it has?

I've shot the Heizer single shot with a full bore .45 Buffalo bore load, didn't think it was bad.

9mm out of a heavier gun can't be bad

It's only got 2 shots... it could be the best quality thing ever, but it's only got 2 shots...
I don't understand this pistol or the their Derringer bretherin, but that's just me.

Ergonomics worse than a 2x4 with low capacity and lots of heft.

many many many better choices.

Several were sold at LGS and all were returned due to the fact they would not fire/ or only fire one bbl. I think it was 5/6 ?
