The company I pay to host INGO ran into some big problems today. We are now back to where we left off sometime the morning of 9/11/08.

This stuff is out of my control. I have used this host for years and this is the first time I have had serious problems. Nothing I can do about it. Sorry for the down time!

Only after I called my ISP, checked the DLS wiring, disassembled the PC, and re-installed Windows did I realize that it was a server problem.

You think that's funny. I had made a couple posts referring to the mods/admin humorously and thought I might have hit a bad nerve with them. My paranoia meter revved to high, thinking I might have been banned.

That photo - Once when I was a network admin at a location someone decided to rewire about half of my network cables in my rack overnight. Not near as funny as the people reading this think it is let me tell you! It was a small network, 50 PCs, AS400 system, a pair of RS6000s and all the related equipment, just a bedroom size really compared to the above photos, it was still hell for a couple of hours.

I can relate....I had a site the was mixed ethernet and broken ring for awhile. Quite frustrating at times until the broken ring finally went bye bye.
